This was a custom sculpture that was commissioned as a gift. The customer described what they wanted for their recipient, and this is what I created. In the end, they were both pleased.

Not long ago, I mentioned that the first career that I considered when I was a kid was fashion design. I've been looking through old sketches and thought I'd share a few here. I think these were done around 8th or 9th grade.
From my art school days: some loose gestural figures. The object with these exercises was to capture more of the energy of a pose than the outline.
