Today I'd like to share some drills from my archive. Back in highschool, eyes were pretty much my favorite thing to draw. And I drew them often,
I recently found a few loose pages from an old sketchbook. They are old sketches I did for a commission years ago that included several large scale Egyptian inspired pieces. I love Egyptian art, and I was going through my "Egyptian period" at the time, so this project was right up my alley!  sketches for a large scale wall hanging  the finished piece (approx. 4ft x3ft)  for a frieze of dancers  sketches for various accents I found this old drawing in my studio recently. I'm not sure what it was for (possibly a newspaper). But it's a reminder of all the different directions my work has taken me!  |
