It has, admittedly, been quite a while since my last installment here. To be fair, as ideas flow, I'm not always afforded the luxury of time for experimentation in my sketchbooks.

This is a video originally shared on social media. It contains a sketch I envisioned about curiosity.
I've gotten a little off track on this particular venture, but I do have things to share. Today I just wanted to share a recent series I created and sold.
Doodling on objects digitally not only saves time in figuring out the direction a piece should take. It also saves paint! I use the Pixlr app for android to experiment on images taken with my phone camera. Click play on the image below to view a slideshow of design trials. I recently found a few loose pages from an old sketchbook. They are old sketches I did for a commission years ago that included several large scale Egyptian inspired pieces. I love Egyptian art, and I was going through my "Egyptian period" at the time, so this project was right up my alley!
