I recently shared a post on my blog about the assorted sketchbooks I carry and keep around me at all times. And now I want to share a little item from one of those little books. For your consideration, a tiny scratch pad inside a flipover cover. I've had this, ahem, "dog-eared" little booklet with the doggie on the cover for many years. It's the perfect size to shove into even a small purse for stray ideas on the go. Here, I give you, one of those ideas in sketch form and realized later in 3D. It's fun for me to revisit the origin of it after going through my process to manifest it. What do you think?
Would you carry a little book to write or sketch? Or at least try sketching or jotting notes on your device? You can click the image to learn more about the finished piece on the right.
